The package is geared for customers with a taste for Budapest piping, diamond quilting, open-pore wood and velour floor mats.
Mercedes-Benz has previewed the GLS Grand Edition, a new premium package scheduled to make its official debut at the Detroit auto show.
The Grand Edition interior boasts a Porcelain/Espresso color theme and luxurious upgrades, starting with 'designo' Nappa leather seats with diamond quilting and Budapest piping.
Nappa leather extends to the dashboard, complementing open-pore brown ash trim. Ambient lighting and brown velour floor mats also come standard.
The GLS450 4MATIC exterior is distinguished by 20-inch two-tone wheels and Mercedes-Benz' LED Intelligent Light System, while the GLS550 4MATIC boasts 21-inch wheels and Active LED headlamps.
Both are scheduled to arrive in US showrooms by mid-2018.
