Chrysler debuts new logoby Andrew Ganz
Chrysler has returned to its five-pointed star logo now that the automaker is independent from Daimler once again. The pentastar logo gets an update for the 21st century, however, with a brushed metal, three-dimensional effect. The new logo is expected to debut on corporate materials effective almost immediately.
DaimlerChrysler will no longer exist after an October 4th shareholders' meeting in Stuttgart, Germany, where those with a stake in the company will vote on a new name, likely Daimler AG.
