Buick prices range-topping LaCrosse Avenirby Drew Johnson
The Buick LaCrosse Avenir lands next month.
Buick has announced pricing for its range-topping Buick LaCrosse Avenir model. The most luxurious version of the LaCrosse is slated to arrive in dealer showrooms next month.
Prices for the will start from $45,795 for a front wheel drive model, representing a $3,700 bump over a comparably equipped LaCrosse Premium model. The all-wheel drive version of the Avenir will list from $47,995, or $3,600 more than the Premium model. All prices include a $925 destination charge.
"Nine out of ten LaCrosse buyers are choosing one of the top two trim levels — customers are signaling they want more from Buick,” said Duncan Aldred, vice president of Global Buick and GMC. "With even more content and an elegant look, Avenir adds a unique name and appearance for those who want the best of our attainable luxury.”
The LaCrosse is the second Buick product to wear the Avenir badge, following the previously announce Enclave Avenir that was unveiled in early 2017. Like the , the LaCross Avenir features several upgrades over the regular version of the car, including a standard V6 engine, panoramic sunroof and Bose premium audio.
If Buick follows the same path as GMC and its Denali line with the Avenir trim, we should soon see it spread to other vehicles in the automaker's lineup.
