Bentley builds GT Speed inspired by Breitling Jet Teamby Justin King
The special-edition Continental GT Speed is limited to just seven units, each inspired by one of the seven aerobatic jets.
Bentley has revealed a special-edition inspired by the Breitling Jet Team.
The company will build just seven examples, each inspired by the seven Czech L-39 Albatros jets that compose the largest civilian aerobatic display team in Europe.
The exterior matches the jets' color scheme, with a two-tone split of Hallmark and Onyx paint. The yellow highlights have been color-matched to the unique hue used by Swiss watchmaker Breitling.
The color scheme continues throughout the interior, where Breitling-yellow accents adorn the unique sculpted seats, dashboard and other elements.
Each example is individually numbered, corresponding to a specific Breitling jet. The seven aircraft are displayed in their characteristic formation on the dashboard's carbon-fiber fascia, with the corresponding jet highlighted in yellow. Logos and graphics can also be found on the headrests, while the tread-plate plaques are individually numbered.
The series will make its public debut at the Boeing Seafair Airshow on July 31 in Seattle, where the Breitling Jet Team will be performing as part of its 2015 tour in the US and Canada. The British automaker has not yet announced pricing or availability information for the limited-edition GT Speed.
